Join Our Team

The American Cancer Society, Relay for Life of Gresham is coming to town! And it’s not your ordinary, get a team together, stay up all night doing continuous laps. They’re going for something totally different!

Saturday, June 25 th at the Main City Park, 219 S Main, Downtown Gresham 12 noon to 11pm come on down and join the “CARNIVAL” fun! Get ready, because it’s going to be a blast!! Lots of celebrating, guest speakers, silent auction, balloon man, clown, Gresham Fire Department on site, live entertainment, fundraising at each team booth, and how about this? A Zumba class at 2pm! That’s right, celebrate, donate and shake your bootie!! They sure put a totally different spin on, what we’ve come to understand as a “Relay for Life” fundraiser. Of course, there is a walking path, which is about 1/8 of a mile, so eight times around equals your 1 mile, and if you have a team and you are still of the mind to do the laps, that counts too!

If you aren’t sure about the whole team thing, you can join our team. Just go to www.relayforlife.org, type in the zip code, 97080 and click on “sign up”, “join a Team” then look for Gresham Ford Chamber AM team! And, Gresham Ford will donate $5 for each person that joins the team! Win! Win!
